Moelfre

A view of Moelfre from the beach on the left accros to the old lifeboat house. Moelfe is steeped in lifeboat history, with many heroic rescues carried out by her lifeboatmen. The complete drawing is shown on the right superimposed over a detailed image from the middle of the drawing.

Ynys Gorad Goch

This scene of Ynys Gorad Goch, drawn in 1993 required a trip out to the island. I must admit it takes a special kind of nerve to live here, especially when the tide is high! The furniture in the cottage was on wooden blocks which should give you a hint of what often happens on high water springs. What a beatiful place to live though.
